When rehabilitating wildlife, it is best practice to simulate their natural environment as best we can. All our indigenous urban wildlife have specific needs and you can ensure that these needs are met!

Sponsor a small reptile:

Small reptiles, such as chameleons, agamas, skinks, red lipped heralds, terrapins, tortoises, toads and frogs require specific care and temporary housing environments. These reptiles need tanks with a heat lamp, or heating pad. Species like chameleons need branches and fresh leaves, as well as frequent misting to enable them to “drink” from drops on leaves. Small snakes may need digital thermometers, humid conditions, and a variety of substrates. It is essential that all these small reptiles are offered natural food items that they will recognise once released.
