When rehabilitating wildlife, it is best practice to simulate their natural environment as best we can. All our indigenous urban wildlife have specific needs and you can ensure that these needs are met!

Some water birds and larger birds we often rehabilitate are yellow-billed ducks, storks, coots, African black ducks, moorhens etc to name but a few. They have specific environmental needs which could include deep water baths, soft substrate to protect webbed feet as well a species specific diet.

R700 per month will help provide:

– Specialized round the clock veterinary care.

– A specialized diet (insects and other species-specific diets).

– Labor-intensive care and specialized husbandry.

– A simulated natural habitat
